Hale House and the Office of the Premier

Hale House is a historical building in West Perth and the location of the new State Cabinet meeting room, house of the Cabinet Secretariat and the Office of the Premier.

West Perth’s century-old Hale House was in need of refurbishment before it could host the new government offices in 2012. The task was entrusted to Diploma, a publicly listed commercial construction company.

Consummo Painting, having extensive experience with heritage-listed buildings, was engaged to do all the painting for the project.

Dennis O’Donoghue was the site manager of the project. He praises Consummo Painting’s reliability, flexibility and attention to detail. “This project was the most professional job in the city with substantial media attention. Diploma engaged with them because of their high standard of work and their efficiency. Diploma wanted to use the best.”
